Her work was initially strongly influenced by her discovery and love of the countryside, expressed by the means of floral embroidery.
Harmonies of colours are the starting point of her inspiration for both her knitwear and her printmaking.
Corinne’s interest in ethnic textiles has influenced her fairisle designs and approach to knitting. Her garments are very distinctive, using simple yet flattering shapes, with the highest quality of finish and attention to detail. Raised scams, contrasting trims and unusual buttons contribute to make her jumpers and jackets a ‘must-have’ garment. She sources her yarns from traditional Scottish spinners and from high-fashion continental mills. In a lot of her knitwear she combines yarns of different colours or texture which gives her a great flexibility with colours and yarn handle.
Consequently her jumpers offer a twist to the expected fashion garments. They are soft and comfortable, both fashionable but timeless.
