Jacqueline Clark

Ceramics

Jacqueline makes thrown forms based on the environment where she lives in Devoran and her creekside studio in Penpol. Coastal landscape and tidal views inform her aesthetic language. Muted glaze colours show the ebb and flow of the tide, from the subtle beauty of high water vistas to the reality of a scarred industrial past.

Jacqueline runs throwing courses from her studio and schools and community projects in mid Cornwall. Working as a learning and participation officer at Leach Pottery in St Ives for 6 years both informed and inspired her practice.
