The inspiration for my current range of textiles was a painting I had seen in the recent centenary exhibition of Terry Frost, held at the Newlyn Art Gallery and the Exchange.

Our first Summer Focus of 2016 at Trelissick Gallery is a collection of porcelain teacups by Deborah Prosser and German ceramicist Anna Sykora, with Wendy Kotenko’s handwoven linen table runners. This beautifully coordinated Focus is now open and runs until 23rd June.

Our Spring Focus at Trelissick Gallery features Denise Stracey’s sumptuous, hand-dyed silk clothing and accessories. Denise’s Focus runs from 30th January until 17th March 2016

Once again Cornwall Crafts’ members have come up with a fantastic collection of work for our Trelissick Gallery Spring 2016 Exhibition.??Running from??30th January??until 1st May 2016. Opening times: 10.30 am – 4.30 pm every day until 13th February and 10.30 am – 5.30 pm thereafter.

Our Autumn/Winter Focus at Trelissick Gallery features Carol Scott’s beautifully decorated earthenware ceramics. Carol’s Focus runs from 3rd October – 19th November 2015.

This Thursday (24th Sept) at Trelissick Gallery renowned textile artist Jackie Harrison will be demonstrating how she handweaves her colourful cotton braids, ribbons and bows on a table-top Inkle loom. Jackie will be available all day for demonstrations, chats and weaving-related questions. All welcome! ??
