Originally drawn to the craft of pottery since college, I apprenticed with the talented Debbie Prosser on the Lizard Peninsula many years ago.
After some time I became attracted to the world of silversmithing and began training under Guy Royle. There I spent 15 years absorbing and studying from him whilst developing my own designs and style, influenced by varying tribal and prehistoric cultures.
Today I hand-cut, shape, and drill semi-precious stones and local beach pebbles to create unique beads. Together with handcrafted silver beads and findings adding decorative touches with tools I craft myself, each piece carries its own charm, with a rustic finish and tactile nature.
I occasionally incorporate 18ct gold into my designs, crafting hollow beads and adding subtle embellishments to bangles and earrings.
I offer tuition on a one-to-one basis on request.
