Printmaking

I am a full time painter and printmaker living in the far west of Penwith taking my inspiration from its rugged and dramatic landscape.

After graduating from Liverpool Polytechnic with a BA Hons in Printed textiles I moved to Cornwall and a small cottage located in the small hamlet of Trevilley, Sennen. Inspired by the Penwith peninsula and its many moods I began to paint. My artwork has since expanded into printmaking, focusing on monotypes printed using an etching press. These are both botanical and land or seascape inspired. More recently I have expanded into birds. My diverse range of techniques and disciplines keeps me creatively energetic and engaged.

I sell and exhibit my work both locally and in London: The Blue Bramble Gallery, St Ives, The River Bank Gallery, Newlyn, The Old Coastguard and The Gurnards Head Hotels and Barnes Fine Art Gallery, Richmond.

I have taken part in various joint and solo exhibitions and participate in Cornwall Open Studios annually.
