After graduating from Liverpool Polytechnic with a BA (Hons) Degree in Fashion and Textiles she relocated to Sennen. It was here inspired by the many moods of the Penwith peninsula, that Sara began to paint.
Over time, her practice has evolved to include printmaking, with a particular focus on monotypes. Her work draws from the natural world—botanical forms, land and seascapes—and more recently photopolymer printmaking has become a new area of exploration. This diversity of subject matter and technique keeps Sara creatively engaged and her artwork constantly evolving.
Sara exhibits and sells her work through several galleries and venues across Cornwall, including:
She regularly takes part in solo and joint exhibitions, and is an annual participant in Cornwall Open Studios. Sara is also an Associate Member of the Penwith Society of Artists.
Sara’s studio is open by appointment for viewing, offering visitors the opportunity to engage directly with her work and creative process.
