Suzy Sharpe, Multi disciplinary Printmaker

Immersed in the untamed rural landscapes of Cornwall, Suzy’s work is deeply inspired by wild places and the intricate connections between birds, plants, and animals. Drawing from folklore, mythology, and poetry, her creative practice explores the interdependence between humans and the natural world, fostering a deeper appreciation for these relationships.

Suzy enjoys combining a variety of process including, botanical monoprinting, linocut, drypoint, monotype and casting to capture the delicate textures and forms found in nature. Her work invites contemplation, encouraging thoughtful engagement with the environment and an awareness of how landscapes shape our well-being.

Suzy’s practice is shaped by her surroundings, where shifting light, wild flora, and the rhythms of nature continually inform her work. As both artist and educator, she shares her passion not only through her own artwork but also through online workshops, tutorials, and books, empowering others to explore their creativity through nature-inspired processes.

Suzy graduated with distinction from the MA Illustration: Authorial Practice at Falmouth University, following the completion of my BA in Fine Art and PGCE.
