I find inspiration in many places, flowers, seed pods, the effects of weather and erosion, even the lines left by a supermarket trolley on a wet day can provide me with shapes, patterns and textures.
Rarely do I have a set plan preferring to let the work develop spontaneously using form and surface decoration to enhance the warm and tactile nature of wood.
